Autism Training and Certification Returns to SAAC

Singapore, 12 January 2016 — St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC), in partnership with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), will conduct the Autism Training and Certification course on 17 and 18 March 2016. To be held at SAAC’s premises at 1 Elliot Road, the sessions in March will be the second time that the course will be take place in Singapore.

Dr Stephen Shore, best-selling author on the subject of autism, international speaker, and lecturer at Adelphi University in New York, will be back to run the training sessions, which are designed to prepare participants to take an examination to receive internationally-recognised certification in the field of autism.

The certification recognises professionals dedicated to promoting quality care in the field of autism. Once certified, each individual will need to complete a minimum of 14 hours of relevant continuing education within two years to maintain certification.
