Are you from an organisation that is interested in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities that will allow for meaningful engagement? Are you able to set aside a full day for your employees to be involved in a CSR initiative? If so, there are three opportunities at St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC) to choose from.
Option 1: Awareness and Fund Raising Events
This CSR opportunity is for organisations/corporate groups/companies who are keen on autism advocacy and helping SAAC continue in its journey alongside persons with moderate to severe autism and their families. Giving back to the community may mean fundraising to benefit SAAC while engaging the public to raise autism awareness and acceptance. It may include adopting SAAC as the beneficiary charity (or one of the beneficiaries) by organising fund raising events.
Option 2: Buddy and Sponsor Recreational Outings
This CSR opportunity is for groups who wish to deepen autism understanding and whose CSR objectives seek some direct interaction with the school students and adult DAC clients in our care. Opportunities here include planning with us to take our children, youths and adults on an outing, and buddying them during the visit to places of interests, such as the Singapore Zoological Gardens, River Safari, SEA Aquarium, Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Bird Park, or Gardens by the Bay, and sponsoring the cost of transport and admission tickets.
Option 3: Sponsor a Festive Meal/Goodie Bags
At our centre, there are several points in a year when we celebrate special occasions and festivities with our students and clients together. These include Lunar New Year, National Day and Coaches and Teachers Day. Additionally, the school and Day Activity Centre (DAC) organise annual family days in November and June respectively to bring families of our students and clients together for half a day of fun-filled event and bonding.
We welcome sponsorships from organisations/corporate groups/companies who are keen to support events and have staff participate in them and interact with our staff, students, clients and families.
Please note that our opportunities are limited and often booked fairly early. So do register your interest in any of these opportunities early by filling in and submitting this form.
